Has anyone had experience of Aone BD-R discs? Are they reliable? They are so cheap it's hard to believe that they are any good.

Thanks Tom. I've ordered a 10 pack of these discs. I usually put my HD productions onto a standard DVD disc(Taiyo Yuden Weathershield) and they play on any Blu-ray player.I've just discovered however that these HD DVD's won't play back on the PC by the same LG re-writer that burn't them. I've just installed PowerDVD11 and the LG re-riter will stll only play back Genuine BD discs. Hence the reason for the cheap BD's just for testing purposes, before using the expensive BD's foe sending to friends etc. Hasppy new year to you.

Why send 'expensive BDs' to friends? What's wrong with these Aones? Or are you thinking their archival qualities will be suspect?

Tom. Just playing safe for now by using end product on discs that have a proven track record of storage for as long as Blu-ray has been available.
