I've done a simple edit of AVCHD files on my Edius 5 (XP pro) timeline and wanted to burn a Blu-ray disc in the LG burner as per usual. Lots of chapter points but no menu pages. 1 hr 45 min.

Export / burn to disc. Click on Burn and am told 'Disc Burner. Out of memory' in a little pop-up box. My work folder has lots of space.

I've rebooted, closed down and opened up, tried a different blank, now I'm stumped. Of course you guys will know what's up in a flash.

"Lots of space"? A nearly full BD will be c.20GB - I assume your "lots of space" means maybe double that for caches, images, temp.files, whatever??

67.1 gb of space on that particular drive. Surely enough Martin?

Any recent system changes, newly installed hardware or Software, Windows updates?
Using the same blank BR-Rs as you usually use?

Yes, I would have thought so! You're not low on RAM? or running lots of (or any) other applications simultaneously?

Good questions, No system updates, no hardware installed, lots of chapter points but is that sometimes a problem - is there a max number allowed? Same BD-Rs.

One thing though. I set it burning and all was ok. Then I hit cancel because I'd forgotten to use markers on the timeline for chapter points on the BD. And it was from this point on that the Out of Memory box came up. I'll delete some and report back.

Well I didn't even know disc burners even had a memory but having reduced my chapter markers from 50 down to 25 all was well, and the Blu-ray burnt without a problem. Thanks guys.
