HI, All
A While ago, i posted a question regarding (best all-in-one)software solution for burning from cd or dvd.
I have "Winoncd 3.8" software for my plextor cdr/rw and "Instant cd/dvd" for my AO3

And wondered if there was a software solution that would be able to combine the two but be an improvement.

Im not really looking for "authoring Software" unless its better than SpruceUp, just really the "Burning software".

I know in next months issue this is coming up, but has anyone heard of this?,is it in the review?, and is it anygood?

P.S Sorry, Currently running Win ME going over to 2k when i can afford.

Kind regards

Regards all.

My best success was with VOB InstantCD/DVD for all DVD burning. After you get the hang of it it i squite simple to work with. I still using Nero for DC Burning thogh.

Leatest versions of Nero have some DVD options but far from being a Working solution. I was not able to burn Images created by Impression or DVDit and no option to burn the Video_TS directories. Hopefully Ahead will fix this problems and add more functions.

There is a new program I have not tested Called GEAR Pro DVD : http://www.gearsoftware.com/products/prodvd/index.cfm
You can try the free trial.

Stuart

Good topic, I am struggling to find some burning s/w that doesn't lockup/fall over with my system, Rex RT nt4.0 sp5 MyDvd/Reeldvd.

VOB software which came with my MYdvd - even the new version released recently which claims to address various problems has made little if any difference to my burning issues.

I'm now trying to use a product that came with ReelDvd called NTI cd maker 2000 professional.
It too refuses to format cdrw and most definately dvdrw ! I've now spent a small fortune on various brands of disc, which all perform differently during the formating process. I have though with TDK a cd-rw disc made it as far as writing to it using NTI but then I got buffer underun.....

NTI claims to have support recently for the Pioneer A03, however its not going well my end.

This has probably not helped your search for an answer but at least may give you another programe to look out for.

I should like to try Primo prassi s/w but not sure how to source this one.
