Hi everyone,
We are doing a Muslim wedding and need a female videographer for the 31st of October in London to film from 5 to 11 pm.
If any female videographers are interested please message me with your fee for the day and equipment used

Hi David,
Either of my daughters would be able to help you out - both very experienced at filming bridal preps. Camera used is Canon XH-A1. Fee would be £200.

Just saw your post - are your daughters still videographing weddings? I am based in London and am looking to expand my team of freelancers - I am female videographer myself and shoot mostly on the Sony Z1 - but I have a fair bit of demand for female videographers and would really like to talk to you and your daughters further. Saw your reply completely by chance. The original posts were before the forum 'crash' so no auto replies generated. Yes, they both still work for me, though not as much the last year or so. (One of them had a wedding to plan 
). They've always decided among themselves (with my wife) who is doing which job - with me being the constant.

Hi All
I've just joined this forum so thought I'd introduce myself particularly as this thread is about female videographers - I know that this particular wedding was last year but no harm in replying for future work should it arise. I have covered several muslim weddings from bridal preps, the Nikah and beyond so have experience in this type of work. I've covered many multi-cultural weddings alongside my husband and I generally stick with the bride and film her.

Welcome to the madhouse Tracey. We're a bit short of numbers here since the old forum underwent a changeover, so new members are great to see. I note from your website you're midlands based. I've got a wedding coming up on the 21st of this month that for one reason or another my Wife & (both!) daughters are struggling to cover. Are you prepared to cover London weddings?

Thank you for the warm welcome. I'm happy to cover London weddings although 21st is out for me as we're booked for a wedding in the Peak District :). I typically use a Canon 550D, Canon 7D and 600D - lenses so far I have 24-70mm f2.8, 50mm F1.8, 35mm F1.4, Tokina 11-16mm F2.8 and an 85mm F1.4 but next week I shall hopefully have the Canon 70-200mm MkII F2.8. I use a glidetrack and also hope to equip myself with a glidecam HD2000 very soon :). We have the Glidecam 4000HD but that is my husbands. The Steadicam Merlin which we used got damaged at a wedding and needs a new plate so that is redundant at the mo!

Thought I'd make contact as I've just joined this forum and I'm a female videographer. I've been filming weddings for over ten years now, and have also filmed quite a number of Muslim weddings over the years.
I am based in Hampshire, but I do film weddings in London, and across the South. I shoot mostly on a Sony Z1 (and edit on Avid).
I would be really interested in any future work you have for a female videographer. I also worked as a Producer/Director for the BBC for over ten years, prior to filming weddings and corporate events.

Thanks so much for responding, yes we need female videographers who are culturally sensitive and can work within the Asian wedding framework. I am not very good at this way of communicating so not sure as to how I should get in touch with you directly?
