Beware IE 5, I, and a couple of other people who have systems with more than one hard drive for video editing have had major crashes as a result of installing IE 5, unless someone out there knows how to make IE 5 coexist with systems with more than one hard drive.
For what it's worth I have been using the AV Master, MSP 5, (now 5.2) for ages and been very pleased with the results.
I have multiple HD and have been using IE 5 since it was fuly released, it is the most stable browser I have used.

Thanks for your reply, Paul, I got my IE 5 from a magazine CD - I'm now thinking that it may have been a cut down version
Hi there,
i use IE5, which I got off a cover disc, I also have 2 Maxtor 13 gig drives which I use for editing, and 2 interchangeable C drives, 1 for video work and 1 for general work, and have never had any problems with IE5

Hmm - thats that theory out of the way then!
It's just that after I installed IE 5 the system gradually became more unstable and finished up with "Primary hard disk failure".
I'll try it again when I've got this project out of the way - Thanks for the info.
