I have discovered an oddity with my EPSON Photo PX730WD.
When printing photos to Glossy paper I get better results if I select print quality as 'Inkjet paper' rather than 'glossy'
Anybody else came across quirks like that ??
Cheers.

ps
A quick edit to say that it is now. ?
Agreed - I have different Epsons but have the same effect. With Glossy selected, too much ink is squirted and pictures come out darker than intended. Ordinary paper cannot absorb so much ink so the squirt rate is set to be less. Less ink on glossy paper therefore produces a less dense image (and it makes the cartridges last longer!).

Nice to know I'm not alone
Good point to remember. Thanks.
It's the same with printing discs, on my Epson XP 625 unless you tell it they're standard DVDs rather than 'premium' (I guess they mean glossy) discs, they come out dripping with ink. Useless.
