Folks,
Sorry about the stupidly long forum downtime following a hack.
As a result of this invasion, we've changed to, hopefully more secure, forums software (Drupal-based) and relocated to a new domain - dvforums.com.
Please shout if there are any problems.
All the best
Bob Crabtree
Hurrah it all seems to work now, it has taken me over a week to actually log in as every time I requested a password it would crash.
Thanks for all your hard work getting it up and running it must have been a nightmare but I have missed you and all my forumites!
Fingers crossed, then!!
:-)
Cheers
Bob

Well done, guys - to get it all back working again!
Is this a good thread for comments/questions about the new forum?
If so, I have one: is there a facility to view new/recent/today's posts? I can see the boxes on the left, but a single link (which can be made a favourite to use first thing in the morning) would be good?
(Thanks again for the hard work -I can only shudder at the mass of niggles found and testing needed.)
Hi. Glad to see you back and hopefully stabilised. You must of been very frustrated over the problems tht needed to be overcome. However I tried to contact you with a question but was told I weas authorised to enter the page. However my question would of been :- " can you still select to be notified of a reply to a posting, and if yes how do you select the choice". Thanks.
I agree with Moobile.
The ability to see just recent posts is badly missed. It takes too long to navigate all the site
I'm sure the forum will find its feet again, so long as there is a steady supply of posters.
In my experience, the only time a forum fails is if there are not a lot of posters.
