Hi all,

I'd just like to announce that a new version 3 of DVMP Pro has just been released.

It can now play and display camera metadata of HDV .mt2 files, and burn-in the metadata (inc timecode, date/time and camera exposure details). You can frame-step back or forward and examine the metadata of each frame. Note that to play or process HDV files, a 3rd party MPEG-2 video decoder must already be installed on your PC.

There's also a new DV Capture module which can be used for live capture (with slave to camera), and splits to separate files on-the-fly.

There's also a new batch processing tool which extracts the recording date and time from a variety of video camera formats and appends it to the file name (e.g. myfile 2009-02-17 18:10:57.m2t) - works for DV AVI, Raw DV, HDV (1080 and 720 variants), AVCHD m2ts/mts, and MOD.

There's a limited demo version to download. I'd be interested in any feedback (there's an email link on the site).
