All of a sudden one of our FX1 lenses has developed a squeak! This only occurs when the zoom is in the "Ring" position at the furthest section of the zoom range, in the Lever/Remote position it does not squeak. The sound it makes is audible to what seems to be near the outer edge of the lens unit. I wondered if a PTFE based lube could be used without damaging the unit or getting near the lens.
