Having recently installed a WD 10GB hard drive, I wanted to enable DMA, however the tick box is not present. It is also being listed as a Type 00 drive, whereas my other EIDE drive are Type 47.
I would much appreciate you help in working out why this is and how to fix it. Many thanks.

I don't understand what you mean about enabling DMA
Have you run the thing in the Bios that defines the drive?
