Got a full cash refund from Currys after a conversation/confrontation with a female shop assistant that was becoming rather heated.
Told her to cancel my extended warranty as I was within the seven day 'change my mind' period.
Told her that I was returning the TV as it could not stand upright.
She said they would get an engineer to call and install it. It would cost me £20.
Told her that installation was not a problem and that she could get one of her engineers from the backshop to show how to get the thing to stand upright.
She said 'OK but that will cost you £20.

Told her to forget about an engineer and that I was returning the unit as being faulty.
She said I couldn't do that because I had cancelled the warranty.
Told her that the extended warranty had nothing to do with it and that I was returning it because of a manufacturing fault.
