Hi can Any one Help please

I'm on My Second ATI All in Wonder Card (First Rage128 16mb Now Radeon 32mb) because the first Didn't Capture In Stereo From TV.
Despite Much Tweaking and Reading up On The Subject, I've Never Achieved What I Would Call watchable/Acceptible Quality. I Want to Capture from Tv And Vhs (Mainly Pre-recorded Macrovision Protected), For Backup - Future Proofing (To save Having To By Up All New On DVD). Even Bought Nearly A New System ( Replaced Parts Such As 550Mhz Processor to A 1Ghz etc) Still No Better. Mostly I Have Audio sync Problems Or Noisey Pictures. Can't Seem To Find A Happy setting In Any Capture Program (VDub or Ati Media Centre). So I Thought Of Upgrading Again With The (Eventually New Processor Motherboard) Capture Device. I've Narrowed Down choice To A Few capture devices, The new ATI All in Wonder 9700, Canopus advc 100, advc 50, advc 1394 or Other ADVC i.e Miglia Dir-Cut.
Does Anyone Have Any Of These Or Better still Experience To Advise Overall Best. I Don't Really Need The Firewire Capabilities Of The advc 1394 (I Have This On My Audigy Sound Card) But Its The Only one Judging by What I've read Has realtime Brightness, Contrast & quality Picture adjustments.

Kevin

I Have A :-
P3 1000Mhz 384mb Ram
All In Wonder Radeon 32mb AGP
Creative Audigy Platinum Sound Card
Two HardDrives 40Gig System W-Digital And 40 Gig IBM 7200rpm Capture drive
Via Chipset Motherboard

I have the ADVC 50 and it works great. The ADVC 100 is the same, but with the added analog out feature, which I dont need (I use my cam as a pass thru).

Thanks Mike
I Still have to decide what route I'm going take but canopus advc 100 seems likely (for The Macrovision disable option) although a digital terestrial hauppauge card (dec2000-t) may be more cost effective(But may be of less quality cheaper than even the advc 50 but again don't know about macro disable with this one.
(for The Macrovision disable option) Does the advc 50 Have The macrovision disable option as well - I Don't Need The Dv out option if so I Would Get The advc 50, I can use the video out of my Graphics card.
