Hi
I'm intending to buy this software, as i'm looking for the photo album effect (video on pages etc) However i was wondering if it will work with Avid? The Canopus website doesn't have any info, and the Avid boffins don't seem to want to answer me.
I don't really want to have to buy after effects, although it might be the only answer.
Anybody using Photoalbum 2?
Canopus Photoalbum 2 will not work with Avid, only Adobe Premiere, Storm Edit and Edius.

I doubt if it will ever work with Edition and I don't know of any other program that will do a similar effect. Purple used to accept some Premiere Plugins so it may be worth a try and Elastic Gaskit for Avid may have a slight chance of working with photoalbum.
You could perhaps use it with the new 'Lets Edit' Software from Canopus (£99 inc VAT) and then import rendered AVI into Avid or Edition.
