I have just upgraded to DV500DVD everything was fine when first installed but when I opened the premiere tonight the Pinnacle transitions do not work in real time. After unsuccesfully trying to get them to work I Uninstalled then re-installed success everything works. Shut down the computer and restart and I am back to square one the transitions do not work again, can anyone help please.
I have had DV500 plus successfully installed for 18 months now so I do not think there is anything wrong with the system.

Sorry folks forgot to put my OS details, I am on win2k and as i said everything has been ok prior to loading this upgraded software.I did uninstall the previous version using add/remove programs as I have had problems before using the unistall programme on DV500.

You are not the only one having this problem. I have a two week brand new DV500 DVD machine w/win2k OS, 512Mb RAM, 40+80 Gb disks and a 64 Mb graphic card. All dealer constructed by the best dealer in Pinnacle in Norway.
But no transition is reeltime! How come??? I paid to have a reeltime card, but nothing at all is reeltime!!! It's just as much rendering as with my previous DV200 machine! Have I wasted a good £2600????

Hi Kaare sorry to hear you have the problem, but on a positive note I can tell you that I have resolved my problem.
Allthough I had previeously uninstalled the previous DV500 software I decided to do it again but this time I cleaned the registry of all files to do with Pinnacle,Hey presto!success everything now works perfectly.
From what you say your system is new and should come to you fully working, take it back to the store and get it fixed.
Thanks to the people who replied on the site and on E-mail, your contributions made my `grey matter` work overtime and look for the solution.

Regards
