Yes I have just downloaded 12H. To my horror, taking an AVI created by my DC30Plus, just comes out totally black.

Why? Any ideas.

Back to 12A until this is sorted out.

I downloaded a version (I think it was 12g) a few weeks back and found that it didn't support .avs files. Before I download the new one, can anyone tell me if this one does support .avs files?

tommo,

had the same problem and have now checked it out. There is a problem with avi's, but it can be overcome by streaming the output (frame by frame) via Avisynth. This isn't so bad as it allows you to export to mpeg2 via your chosen editing s/w (e.g. premiere).

Find avisynth thru a google search, and if you're a premiere user then remeber to download the prem plug-in.

Its fairly simple to use, gets round the problem AND allows you to code directly from the timeline.

More recent versions of TMPGEnc are a problem though as the auther has been forced to impose a 30-day limit on the MPEG-2 stuff which is a pain!

hope this helps
