I'm trying to author my first DVD and ran into problems quite quickly.
I encoded the video in TMPGenc 2.59, made a menu in photoshop following a tutotial and imported these assets into Impression. But when I drop the MPEG 2 onto the Video 1 track I get an error message: 'An error occurred rendering a track' and I can't seem to preview or do anything much with it.
I have encoded the MPEG at a fairly low bit rate as it's 111 minutes long, could this by why it's being refused?
My encoding settings were as follows:
CBR Linear PCM Audio
Changed the res from 352x 576 to 720 x576
Lowered bit rate to 3600 kbits/sec
m2v file is 2.62GB
wav file is 1.18GB
Everything else I left on default.
Anyone got any ideas? I don't have enough hair as it is, can't afford to tear any more of it out.
Sorted.
Cheers to Paul who mailed me to tell me to rename the MPEG2 file extension to .mpv beacuse impression won't accept .m2v.
