I’m not sure if I have the right forum but I need some advice on a replacement battery for my NV-GX7.

The camera in question is roughly 18 months old, but every time I browse the net for a higher mAh Battery I am not able to find on for this particular model.

Alls I know is that the battery that came with the camcorder is a 7.2 volt, 800mAh and as the model number, CGR-D08R.
I am looking for one that is at least 2500 mAh, would other Panasonic model fit this camcorder or am a stuck with just the one battery that is now not keeping a charge the same as what it was when it was new?

Please help, I need to get one ASAP

Cheers

Neo, Try this site(One of many)

http://www.kelkoo.co.uk/search.jsp?siteSearchQuery=cgr-d220&catId=100164013&kpartnerid=8903670

CGR -D320 is (I think(Check))A direct replacement Li-ion 7.2v 2500ma.

On the site check your battery shape, against the one shown!
The makers batteries are all very expensive, compared with those shown on site( So far (X) never had any problems!)

I have a NV-GX7 in front of me - one of my classroom cameras. We use a Panasonic CGP-D28 battery It is quite large but has 2800mAh capacity and gives a good running time. I would recommend this size as normally lasts "all day" as it were.
No idea of the price for you as this is New Zealand. Our local Panasonic company always has them in stock. Frankly the batteries supplied with new cameras are totally inadequate in my view.

Try http://www.keene.co.uk (or give them a ring) and the Panasonic UK shop at http://www.panasonic.co.uk/ashop/product.asp?i=NVGX7 (a bit expensive but it gives you a listing of all the batteries that will fit the GX7)
