Hey guys,

I have question regarding resizing movie. I made small home video but now i ran into a little problem. The footage i go is pretty poor in quality (320x240). I would like to have video good enough to watch on most TV's and 16:9 widescreen monitors. To make movie i used Movie Edit Pro 9 by Magix. I am able to "resize" it but then my video pick up huge pixels which only makes things worse. Does anyone know software that could make video (or convert from already existing movie) with higher resolution? I heard there are vector based programs but i did not come across them.

Thanks for you help.

nope, no vector based progs for that, and nothing can really make a video bigger and better than its original.

Q: what did you shoot the videos on in the first place? that will dictate how big it can be in the end without noticeable loss of quality.

Thanks for response. I did not shoot video, my friend did. I will ask him what kind device he had. I only got footage from him in 320x240 resolution as .avi file.

It sounds like mobile phone footage. No chance of making it better.

Get my test cards document, and cards for 625, 525, 720 and 1080. Thanks to Gavin Gration for hosting them.
