Any recommendations on a good mic to use with a minidisk recorder?

i use sony's own which is now a SONY ECM-TS145, with my minidisc.

It depends on what you are doing and how much you want to spend.

The Sennheiser MKE 2 is an excellent mic., but not cheap. Though I think the cheaper version without connector can be powered direct from the plug-in power of the MD once you have put a plug on it.

The "Gold" version has an "Umbrella" diaphragm to protect the microphone against moisture - a unique feature.
