Ulead Media Studio 5 - Audio Sync

I have been creating a short 5 min sequence using media studio pro 5 of a karioki singer. I have overlaid part of the sequence with the original soundtrack from cd and spent many hours lining up the 2 audio tracks so that the singer is in time with the song (with great success) or so I thought. After 2.5 hours of rendering, both the sound track that was imported with the film clip and the soundtrack overlaid from the cd are way out of sync with the singers lips. I have tried rendering with and without interleaving switched on to no avail. Any ideas would be most welcome.
Thanks in advance

Chris,
What is the original audio sampling rate of your video?

The audio you're importing from CD will be coming in at 44.1kHz. If the video has audio at 32 or 48kHz, you may find problems combining the two. It may help to keep all audio at the same frequency rate.

Hi,

The audio attached to film clip is 22kHz 16 bit stereo and the cd recording was saved at the same settings using sound forge, so both tracks are at same rate
